Description:
I came from an area of Louisiana that was hit hard with flooding.  I was pregnant and alone and hid under a front porch for safety.  The family that owned the home did not want me there and tried everything they could think of to get me out from under their porch including throwing lit firecrackers at me.  I just wanted a safe place to have my babies!!  I was caught and taken to a shelter.  Because of the flooding and displaced homeowners, the sheter was overcrowded and they were euthanizing over 100 animals a day.  Thank God I was pregnant and A Second Chance Rescue agreed to take me.  I gave birth to 8 beautiful babies a week before coming to FL.  Now my little family is safe!!
