Description:
I came from an area of Louisiana that was hit hard with flooding. My mom was pregnant and alone and hid under someone's front porch for safety. The family that owned the home did not want her there and tried everything they could think of to get her out from under their porch including throwing lit firecrackers at her. My mommy just wanted a safe place to have me and my siblings!! She was caught and taken to a shelter. Because of the flooding and displaced homeowners, the sheter was overcrowded and they were euthanizing over 100 animals a day. Thank God she was pregnant and A Second Chance Rescue agreed to take her. I was born a week before coming to FL. Now I'm safe!
