Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Lexy

Second Chance.......Christie and Lexy's previous Fosters, Just a note to let you know that Lexy is doing really well. She has bonded with my Mom and Dad. She loved to sit on Dad's lap and watch the ball games on TV or sit on the chair next to Mom while she works a puzzle. My Dad was definitely hesitant at first but we were right and it's all good! She made a few trips to the Lake House and just like you said Car rides are no problem. She saw the Vet and got the bortadella shot and he confirmed she is a healthy dog. She is definitely the queen and lets my dogs know whose house it is ...but then calms down. She couldn't be sweeter. I consider this a success story! Many thanks, Andrea Serraes
